Your favourite medium used to express yourself
I always try to find the perfect medium for ideas I have. The medium I use ranges from internet and motion design to
photography or just plain drawing.


Your favourite time of the day to create
I usually create new stuff over night. This results some more coffee consumption in the next morning.

What / who inspires you

Anything I can get my hands on. I try to be in touch
with as much different types of media as possible.


How do you get into the flow state

After sketching out some ideas and putting on some cool music it is easy to plug in.

Do you have a designated creative space

Yes I have. I think it is important to have a unique space that you are used to and you feel comfortable in.

Who are the people supporting you in pursuing your dreams

I work a lot with other designers so that I get feed back that I need to keep on creating good stuff. For me, that is the most important thing.

Your views on the importance of education in a design career

I always believed that to be a good designer you don’t need a design degree but you do need as good as you can get technical skills. Like html, flash, 3d, aftereffects… and so on, because it is the best if you can create you own ideas. Then everything comes out as it should..

How does the web serve you / Does it serve you

After a coffee every morning I check my favourite design portals to see what is new and what is hapeninng. It has great impact on me.

No not really.

Only one is not enough.

If you had (3) more lives what would you do / be
I would become a designer a lot sooner. I started kind of late. But I tried some other stuff first. Like photography, drawing, caricatures, movies…

Your favorite physical activity

Running, playing basketball, and skiing.

Partying, having coffee with friends, sports, music, and sometimes i enjoy doing absolutely nothing.

How were you encouraged to be creative as a child

It must have been my first sketch book. I still carry one around it’s cool to be able to sketch your ideas over a coffee.

What did you like to do most at the age of 10

I don’t really know. Jumping around, I guess…
